A complementary pair of antique Indian Dhokra horse sculptures. These early 20th Century figures have been cast in a brass metal alloy using the traditional lost-wax technique, employed by artisans in India for over 4,000 years. The Dhokra style results in the sculpture appearing as wrapped in a series of lines and is revered for its enchanting and primitive simplicity.
