A 19th Century teak and brass military campaign chest of drawers. This Anglo Indian antique brass mounted campaign chest has two short drawers over three long drawers and turned bun feet. The drawer fronts are decorated with original brass inset handles and key escutcheons. As is traditional for campaign furniture, this piece can be divided into two parts and has the original brass carry handles on the sides. The brass is stamped ‘T E Thomson & Co Ltd, Calcutta’. An attractive and capacious piece of storage.

All drawers open smoothly and sit flush when closed. The back board and interior boards of the drawers have been updated at some point. A couple of small areas of repair but generally very good condition.
