A rare and refined chest of drawers dating from the early 20th century. This Art Deco storage unit is expertly constructed in quarter sawn oak with ebonised details and chrome capped verticle drawer pulls. Dark sections applied around the base give the illusion of a fluted plinth, and this Trompe l’œil style technique creates clever faux shadowing. Handmade by fine furniture makers Mark Rowe and Sons of Exeter, established in 1825, and complete with the original label.
