A deep seated 20th century Signature scroll arm chair by George Smith. This vintage country house armchair is an early piece from esteemed furniture maker George Smith and has a strong solid wood frame, fixed coil sprung back, feather and down seat cushion, turned front legs and brass castors. The upholstery is in very good order and the chair has recently been part covered in calico, ready for covering or it can be used as it is.

The seat cushion retains the original fabric cushion cover which has some light wear and signs of age. Calico in good condition with some very minor marks in a couple of places, not particularly noticeable.
