





























Vintage 811 Thonet Chairs
A pair of early 20th century bentwood chairs by Thonet . The 811 chair, also known as the Prague chair, is attributed to the Austrian architects Josef Hoffmann and Josef Frank. Designed in the late 1920s, this classic piece remains one of Thonet’s most popular models.
These chairs were made in Poland by FMG for Thonet and have their original black lacquer and cane panels. Both are stamped on the underside. Priced and sold as a pair.

Original cane work in great condition with just a couple of very minor breaks in the seat back, not very noticeable and not to affect use. The black lacquer has real depth and patina with the usual signs of age and use. There are couple of replacement screws to the underside.
