An early 20th century vintage French hanging lantern with verdigris finish. This Arts and Crafts design ceiling or porch light has a caged metal body and an oxidised conical copper top housing the bulb holder.

Wired with a braided bronze cord flex (1.7m in length) and supplied with 1m of chain (modern). There is a removable perspex cylindrical cover that sits inside the body and can be used as a protective shield for the bulb, or replaced with glass if desired. Opens from the base with a screw closure.
